Dr. Luke Rex continues to work as a licensed psychologist, drawing from over a decade of experience in acute adolescent treatment centers, as well as intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs across California. His years in the field have offered deep insight into the complex inner worlds of today’s youth.
A passionate advocate for adolescent mental health, Dr. Rex has also directed and co-created with teens, numerous theatrical productions during his time as a faculty member at The Young Actors Studio in North Hollywood. Now, blending his clinical experience with his creative voice, Dr. Rex is developing These Kids—a poignant, humorous, yet often heart-wrenching drama that weaves together the lives of psychologists, patients, staff, and families. The series aims to reduce mental health stigma, increase insight, and ultimately strengthen our shared humanity.
