Synopsis: The feature adaptation of Bonding begins in late 1950s London, where Joan Flemington, a brilliant Cambridge University student, encounters an enigmatic man whose secrets will change her life forever. This fateful meeting sets off a chain of events that leads to the birth of her son, John, in Australia.
Years later, Dr. John Flemington has built a career as a psychologist for the Australian Federal Police, where his uncanny intuition and exceptional forensic skills draw the attention of the CIA. Recruited as a clinical and forensic psychologist, he uncovers startling truths about his estranged father’s identity—revelations that thrust him into a complex world of espionage and covert operations.
John’s journey takes an even more personal turn as he recalls the vivid out-of-body experiences of his youth—visions that hint at a deeper connection to the mysteries he now faces. During his time with the CIA, he learns about the Gateway Process, a classified initiative developed with the Monroe Institute to explore the boundaries of human consciousness. His path intersects with Anastasia Mansfield, a mysterious underground operative who reveals the profound significance of ancient Germanic runes.
